Mostanában igen népszerűek az egy fiúból és egy lányból álló zenekarok, idén jelent meg a The Kills és a Sons & Daughters lemeze, melyekről már olvashattatok itt, most pedig itt van a The Ting Tings We Started Nothing című debütje, ami az agyonjátszott Great DJ után kissé csalódást okozhat. A lemezt meghallgatva bizony sokmindenki eszünkbe juthat, a Blondie-tól, napjaink női new rave bandáiig, és hát sajnos olyan hatásokat is találunk benne, melyek egyáltalán nincsenek jó hatással a zenére, elég ha csak az idegesítően feminista That's Not My Name R&B-s kezdésére gondolunk.
