Formed three years ago in upstate New York, Phantogram is one of the most promising new acts these days. Joshua Cartel and Sarah Bartel met in high school and they shortly became friends. Sarah studied visual arts while Joshua formed his first band, an experimental formation called Grand Habit. Later in 2007, Joshua and Sarah started to write songs under the name Charlie Everywhere. They shortly became popular in their hometown, Saratoga Springs. They changed their name to Phantogram when they signed to BBE Records. Their debut album Eyelid Movies came out in September 2009. Their music is like Coney Island rollercoaster, they raise you to the summit and a moment later you notice you are falling into the valley of pain. Their new single Don't Move is a beautiful song full of emotions, a melody as sweet as Sarah's singing voice.
